Cascade 220 Felted Bag...Felted
Hooray it's finally been felted! Now that we're in our new place and have a new washer and dryer I was able to felt this project.
Cascade 220 Felted Bag - Post Felting
I'm now working on a cute flower pin (pattern courtesy of KnitWhits) to dress up the bag a bit. The flower kit comes with this great Alpaca yarn, but I found out I'm allergic to Alpaca (boo hoo) so I'm using Cascade 220.
I think I'm going to line the bag, and then it will officially be finished. Maybe I can make it to a fabric store this weekend. Anyhow, it's so great to be knitting again!

ooh, is this Sophie? I'm getting ready to make my SIL a felted bag and am still deciding what pattern to use. How did you like this one?

It's a variation on Sophie. I used a different number of stitches/rows and I did the straps differently. I also joined them to the purse differently. I might add a closure as well. Still haven't decided on that. I really liked the pattern. Pretty easy and mindless. Perfect for group knitting or knitting in front of the tv.
