Progress on M&K Blanket

I've been knitting along here and there on Mandi & Khurshed's blanket. It is really soft, so that's good.

M&K Blanket in Progress

Since I'm knitting it lengthwise (I think) and there are 150 stitches it takes quite a while to knit one row. I'm only about 1/4 of the way finished. I'm also trying to weave in the ends as I go. Since I'm changing yarn every couple of rows this can take a lot of time as well. I may pick up stitches and add a border when I'm done to help with the unevenness of the edges (I'm going to pretend it's because of the variety of yarn I'm using). We'll see how it looks when I'm done.

Hopefully I have it completed before June so I won't have to knit a warm blanket during the summer!

It looks so gorgeous and fluffy! Fantasticly snuggly. Hope it stays cool for a while so that all can enjoy its warmth :)

Nice! They are so going to love it.

And weaving in the ends is the way to go. I made a similar throw and didn't weave in the ends as I went along -- nightmare.

Hope to see you tonight at the Meetup!
